Dr. Koya was born and raised in India, where she graduated in veterinary medicine. After moving to the United States, she obtained her DVM license through the Program for the Assessment of Veterinary Education (PAVE). She then practiced in the suburbs of Chicago for 15 years before relocating to Texas in April 2024.

Dr. Koya prides herself on building strong, trusting relationships with her clients and their pets. Her individually tailored approach, combined with her extensive experience, enables her to provide effective diagnostic and therapeutic healthcare services to all her patients. Dr. Koya has a special interest in preventive care and internal medicine.

In her free time, Dr. Koya enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and her pets, Teddy and Spunky. In addition to her professional pursuits, Dr. Koya has a passion for exploring nature, unwinding with a good book, and expressing her creativity through painting and sketching
